Cheney Lied. Who Died?

What did he lie about?

And why did he lie?

That's the story.

The mainstream press has been busy reporting the side story; how then Vice President Dick Cheney withheld information from Congress about a CIA death squad he supposedly headed.

The mainstream press has this all looking like some kind of hit squad out for Al Qaeda – which, of course, no one would be startled by. Everybody knew America was out to get Al Qaeda. There was no need to hide this information from Congress. Congress would have OK'd it for sure.

That's not the point at all.

The critical point is; what controversial information did Dick Cheney hide from Congress? And why?

Whatever was actually being hidden (is almost without a doubt) far worse than American forces trying to assassinate Al Qaeda leaders.

What we need to ask is; who else was on the hit list? Was assassinated Pakistani former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto on the list? (Not likely. I believe she was supposed to be on our side. But, of course, America obviously didn't protect her.)

The Pakistan People's Party has approached the UN to investigate Benazir Bhutto's assassination. One of the reasons they went to the UN was particularly interesting: “We also wanted to unearth any conspiracy to Balkanize Pakistan.” Now... no leader of Pakistan would want to do that.

We need to at least prove to the world that America was not involved in the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. This should be easy, shouldn't it?... Shouldn't it? Yes, I realize that the CIA has a habit of neither confirming or denying things. But sometimes that just doesn't seem right. A democratic republic shouldn't have some secret organization that is essentially unaccountable. Why do we put up with this?

I know, this all happened over couple of years ago, and it all happened on the other side of the planet. But could it have happened here in the United States also?

Consider U.S. Senator Paul Wellstone. Was he on the hit list? The circumstances surrounding his death were very peculiar – and the “investigation” appeared to be more like a cover-up.

It was well known that Senate's most progressive member (Paul Wellstone) and Vice President Cheney didn't see eye to eye. Wellstone opposed the Bush administration on tax cuts (for the rich), the SEC, and the war on Iraq. Senator Wellstone even wanted to investigate 9/11. Two days before his death, Senator Wellstone claimed that Dick Cheney had told him; “If you vote against the war in Iraq, the Bush Administration will do whatever is necessary to get you. There will be severe ramifications for you and the State of Minnesota.”

It was common knowledge in Washington that the Bush administration had made the electoral defeat of Senator Paul Wellstone the number one election priority of 2002 – and they were failing. Next thing we know, Senator Wellstone had died in a plane crash, due to bad weather, on a relatively clear day.

The book “American Assassination” states: “The sudden death of Minnesota Senator Paul Wellstone not only deprived the Democrats of a majority during the lame duck sesssion after the election, but the subsequent loss by Walter Mondale to Norm Coleman, whom Wellstone was defeating, cost them control of the Senate.”

Hmm... Dick Cheney has a secret hit squad, whom he illegally hides from Congress; and his most ardent political opponent dies in a suspicious plane crash just before winning his re-election campaign. Maybe this deserves more of an investigation.

Yet, I keep reading in the mainstream press that there are those in power in America who feel it would be inappropriate to investigate why then Vice President Dick Cheney had the CIA withhold information from Congress about a world-wide hit squad (with who knows who for targets).

Because they don't want to hurt morality at the CIA...

What? We don't want to hurt their feelings?

That has got to be the lamest excuse I have ever heard.

We don't want an open and transparent government because it might hurt morality at the CIA?

Who cares about morality at the CIA?

Let the truth be known.

And while we're at it. What about that Republican IT specialist, who was just about to testify before Congress (about some stolen elections), who also died in a plane crash?

Palestinians = Native Americans

Just take a look at the maps.
Native American Lands
The pattern is obvious.
The results are the same.
This is manifest destiny all over again.

Moreover, some of the techniques Israel is using oppress the Palestinians look just like what the Nazis did to them.

We know Israel is up to something evil. They wouldn't cooperate with the UN War Crimes Council. Israel wouldn't even allow them access to Gaza. (The UN human rights investigators had to enter through Egypt.)

Naomi Klein, who is Jewish, has recommended a boycott of Israel.

And what is the United States doing about this? Apparently we're helping pay for it.

Where your tax money is going!
